Dreaming of mountains
One of my current hyper fixations is mountains. I developed a thing for volcanoes in like 2021, but this year I discovered mountains are just as cool.
One day I’ll make a post or a shrine dedicated to my faves, but I just love these beautiful immovable pillars of nature. Here long before humans decided to “conquer” them & they will be here long after there aren’t anymore humans to climb them. They are so beautiful & grand to me.
Last night, I had such a cool mountain related dream. I dreamt I had an awesome job studying/observing mountains & volcanoes in like Alaska (or somewhere north) but it was on a remote island, so we were on like a military base.
The mountains were so beautiful that even though we couldn’t leave often, I still enjoyed being there bc of the endless scenery 🥹. The base was built into the mountain itself & had these huge floor to ceiling windows which allowed one to see the mountains all around. (Irl I think it would bother me bc we should preserve our mountains instead of building into them, but this was just a dream!)
When I woke up this morning from the dream, I was full of joy. Mountains really bring me joy. My husband has joked & said “instead of the train autism, my wife has the mountain/volcano one.” Lmfao.
I’m grateful that I can find joy in the natural structures of our earth. Honored to live on such a spectacular planet.
